@sod Thanks! I know what you mean, purple and pink just have that kind of feel.

@maique Thanks! Yeah, the font really makes the theme.

@manton Thanks!

@pimoore Thanks! Oops, I definitely know what's causing that, I'll get that fixed.

@cdevroe I’m 99% I’ll be going with Artix, and instead of a desktop environment, I’ll be using a tiling window manager (dwm).

@mejh Ha, I've already had similar. But in a few cases where I didn't run -Syu yet, and packages were returning 404's. But nothing has broken... yet.

@mike Yeah it definitely has a different feel nowadays.

@timapple That makes sense. Yeah, it seems as if some people have wild expectations of what will happen in their day. But still, like you, I do find the videos interesting.

@stevebrady Haha, I could even get away without carrying a wallet at all, thanks to Apple Pay. I don't have any store cards or anything else like that.

@mike Ha, yeah I guess that also works.

@alanralph I just purchased a cheap iPhone 5 from eBay, so I’ll have to do a little experiment. How are you finding the SE still?

@sod I’m definitely the same. I can’t imagine having only new products.

Wow that clock is incredible! I can’t imagine most clocks bought today would last that long.

@mandaris It was bearable, thanks! Haha. The second day was certainly a lot easier.

@Gaby I think I prefer it to the finish of the recent models. But my favourite has to be the real dark 5, especially when it had visible wear and tear.

@numericcitizen That makes sense! I also had the 7, but I tried out the Jet Black one instead that time.

@JohnPhilpin I think I just need to try and move my sleep schedule. Before the pandemic I was getting up at around 6 am, which I found to be good. But now I work from home, so it’s slipped for quite some time now.

@pcora That's good. I think the high prices that I've seen are first editions. I'm just looking for the original Bloomsbury copies, regardless of edition.

@adders I'm always amazed at the lack of litter when I see photos like this. Everywhere seemed a lot cleaner >20 years ago.

@alanralph I think that's what happened to me. At the start I was interested in the automatic sorting/filtering, but it stopped me from actually trying to tackle my real problem which was too much email.

@pimoore That's a good point. If you don't regularly cleanup your feeds, then you can kind of get stuck in an echo chamber, just like on social networks.

@mroutley Thanks. I think I'm going to do something similar. The minimum will be slowly moving newsletters to Feedbin, and aggresively cleaning my various feeds.

@frostedechoes Thanks. Yeah, that's something I'm going to look at soon.

@alanralph That's sometime I need to learn I think. I always tend to hang on to feeds in case I miss something in the future, but all it means is that my unread count goes up, and it feels like a real effort to go through and read articles.

@pimoore That's interesting, I might try one of those challenges as well. The weekday one sounds the most likely.

@otak I like the tweaks you've made!
